Heidi first discovered her love of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine over 20 years ago while working as a vocal instructor. “Classical vocalists place a great deal of demand on their bodies. Like any athlete, vocalists require special care to maintain health and peak performance. I sought acupuncture treatment for myself in the late 1980’s when I was experiencing some respiratory issues that interfered with my ability to sing. I was profoundly impressed by my acupuncturist’s depth of knowledge about the body. She literally changed my health and changed my life. I knew then that someday I would leave music as a full-time career and make practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine the focus of my life’s energy. It is with genuine pleasure that I offer my services to the residents of Eugene, OR.”
